Nude photography is viewed with suspicion and prejudice in Vietnam, but award winning photographer Thai Phien believes passionately in its worth. Phien has spent years shooting nude photos in a bid to prove his personal motto, “Beauty is truth”. Banned in Vietnam, this is the first public gallery exhibition in the United States. UPDATE: Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Cocktail Reception Launch of Thai Phien's work: Banned in Vietnam: Thai Phien's Figure Photography has been postponed until next Thursday, June 5th 7-10 PM.
The exhibit photos have been held up in US Customs and we are working very hard for clearance. We apologize for the last minute change & inconvenience caused.
