Just three months ago, Charles Barkley told Fox Sports Radio’s The Hartman and Friends Show he was “sick of everybody taking shots at [Tiger Woods].”
But on July 2nd, according to Life and StyleBarkley, 47, seemed to have changed his tune. When asked what Woods’ next move should be, the ex-NBA star told Life & Style his longtime pal should ask wife Elin Nordegren for forgiveness.
“He owes his wife an apology,” Barkley said at this weekend’s opening of Casino Club at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, adding, “He made a mistake.”
Not surprisingly, the retired basketball pro– who has had his own share of scandals, including a DUI– denies any knowledge of Woods’ affairs. “I had no idea any of this stuff was going on,” Barkley has said.
Despite urging Woods to apologize to his wife, Barkley still lends Tiger his support: “He’s my friend no matter what. I don’t judge other people, only God can.”
Don’t you think he’s probably done that by now? He’s apologized publicly. It’s over. Next!
