Tiger was seen being unusually friendly to fans at the HSBC championship in Shanghai this week. Appealing to the Chinese people?
Companies including AT&T, Accenture and Gatorade ceased their involvement with Woods this year after the revelations hit the media worldwide.
“We’re certainly considering Chinese companies as they are certainly considering [me],” he said during the four-day HSBC Champions that finished in Shanghai last Sunday, according to news agency Reuters.
“It’s just a matter of finding the right fit and believing in the company and making sure that I can help them and we see eye-to-eye in that regard.”
Tiger made sure to give attention to fans during the event, signing autographs and interacting with the thousands who turned up for the tournament.
Within only one year, China is managing to take over one of our greatest athletes!
Must say, he has been looking pretty ecstatic lately.
