Singaporean singer-songwriter Tanya Chua’s upcoming “Tanya and the Cities” concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on March 19 will feature homegrown diva Kit Chan as a special guest performer. According to a press statement from the concert’s organisers on Staurday, Chua wanted to do something special for her fans in her first major concert in Singapore and so decided to invite Chan, one of her oldest friends, to share the stage with her.

Apart from the big draw of having Kit Chan as a guest performer, Chua’s upcoming concert in Singapore will also have the distinction of being her first concert where she will try her hand at performing a dance segment.
The 36-year-old singer did some Jazz and Tap dancing when she was younger, but that side of her gradually got buried when she embarked on her musical career in 1997. Chua, a two-time Best Female Vocalist winner at the prestigious Golden Melody Awards in Taiwan, expressed that getting her dance groove back hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing, but said every bit of effort she put in has been worth it.
