That is not very nice!
Taiwan superstar Jay Chou got nasty with the paparazzi that hounded him on Friday night, as he left a Taiwan cinema with his mother and rumoured girlfriend, model Hannah Quinlivan, reported Taiwan media.
When one paparazzo questioned him over when he and Quinlivan will be handing out wedding invitations, Chou became upset and told him that he would do so “when you (the paparazzo) die”.
The notoriously anti-paparazzi star conceded that his behavior on Friday was a little rash, but remained largely unapologetic about his actions, when he met the media after a promotional event on Sunday.
“It was already quite good that I didn’t hit him,” said Chou, before explaining that the paparazzi had asked him some highly offensive questions that night.
He added that he hoped “Taiwan will become a quiet place” and said “a lot of artists would like it if there are no paparazzi in Taiwan”.
Chou also took the opportunity to clarify that he did not propose to Quinlivan during their recent visit to London, as some tabloids have claimed.
“I was actually there to shoot a music video. It was for work,” said Chou.
“It is funny how this became a marriage proposal.”
