This season, New York welcomed the Superbowl with open arms. For the first time in decades, the largest sporting event in the US was held in a cold city, and the seige of the Northeast winter storms made sure of that. However, at the GBK Superbowl lounge at the Gansevoort Meatpacking Hotel, things were warm and sunny with the Aruba Tourism Authority transforming the space into a tropical destination featuring sand and a Super Bar with cocktails as super as the weekend’s festivities, where guests had a hand in creating the island’s signature cocktails.
Celebrity guests were encouraged to extend their taste of the island by claiming a 3 day / 4 night trip to the One happy island of Aruba.
A mixture of celebrities, athletes and DIRECTV’s special guests including AJ McCarron and Katherine Webb, Deion Sanders, Serena Williams, Nina Dobrev, Desmond Howard, Jesse Palmer, Peter Facinelli, Jessie James, and more attended the GBK and Aruba Gift Lounge which brought a taste of the Caribbean to the chilly Super Bowl Weekend.
A range of great gifts and luxury items filled the lounge including several products which featured personalization including: AllBobbleheads.com, the largest manufacturer of custom bobbleheads in the United States, gifting each celebrity their own custom Bobblehead; American-made personalized tumblers from Tervis; and gift bags with sneaker-related items plus a shoe-customization services gift voucher from DMC Kicks.
Other great gifts included: Keratin Complex – showcasing their at-home product line including a full-range of Keratin-infused styling products and tools that increase shine, minimize styling time and reduce frizz; Bands for Arms, gifting bracelets made out of old, donated military uniforms which are made from military service members and their dependents; FA Nutrition, the world’s leading fitness supplement company; Aquacai, a natural premium artesian water from the rainforest of Panama; Flips Audio – HD headphones that flip to powerful speakers; Contraband Hats, an urban rock n’ roll driven style specializing in beanies, snapbacks and fedoras; ItsHot.com, a New York-based online manufacturer and retailer of fine jewelry and diamond watches, gifting Luxurman watches; Promax Nutrition, high quality, great tasting protein bars for active people striving to achieve a healthy and fit lifestyle; ShutterBall, a remote shutter for your cell phone, it takes the perfect selfie!; 808 Audio gifting their 808 Canz, a Wireless Bluetooth speaker; and Very Pretty Skin, anti aging and facial and body resurfacing and rejuvenation products.
