Yenny, one of the members of the Korean girl group Wonder Girls will travel to Texas to perform at the “Korean American Heritage Night.”
The group has laid low this year after leaving fans wondering if they have already left the music industry for good. However, Yenny’s event has created insight that the group will still continue singing.
The event is to be held on July 11 at the US Texas Rangers Stadium. It is sponsored by Arlington Global Life, according to JYP Entertainment.
Yenny will also join Korean baseball player Choo Shin Shoo during his fan meeting.
This is not the first time a Korean singer was invited to perform in the US. In May, Jung Yong Hwa, CNBLUE member, performed for the Korean American Event at the LA Dodgers Stadium. The popular Korean icon, Psy, was also featured in multiple US television shows. Psy was also invited to perform at the Grammy Awards.
