Asian stars came out for the Los Angeles premiere of Towelhead, about a young Arab girl named Jasira (Summer Bishil), who is sent to live with her strict Lebanese father in a small town in Texas during the first Gulf War. Towelhead was directed by Alan Ball, who created the Emmy Award-winning HBO hit "Six Feet Under" and won an Oscar for writing "American Beauty," This is his first feature film which will start playing in art-house theaters this month.
