Pacquiao told a radio station in Manilla that he was told by God in a dream to retire soon.

It was that dream earlier this year that convinced the boxer to give up the rest of his remaining vices which he says included gambling and late-night partying.

“I will not stay long in boxing because He said: ‘You have done enough. You have made yourself famous but this is harmful,’ ” Pacquiao told DVMM.

The champion said that religion will not hurt his boxing prowess and that he’ll “do my work inside the ring.” He believes God wants him to use his fame to spread the Christian message.

Pacquiao fights Timothy Bradley on June 9 in Las Vegas.

It’s true! People dead and alive come to you in dreams. Might as well listen!
