Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all set to attend the Cannes Film Festival

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all set to attend the Cannes Film Festival red carpet in May.

The actress’s attendance was unsure because of Beti B, as she is busy enjoying her motherhood. However, Gather news Friday reported that the actress would attend the 65th Cannes International Film Festival.

The former Miss World has been attending the event since 2002. She first attended the festival to promote her movie “Devdas”. And this year it would be her first appearance at an international event after the birth of Beti B.

Apart from Aishwarya, other Bollywood stars like Arjun Rampal, Bipasha Basu and Kareena Kapoor will also attend the event.

The 65th Cannes International Film Festival will be held between May 16 and 27.

The Cannes Film Festival will be Aishwarya’s first major public appearance post Beti B’s birth. The actress, who doesn’t seem to be in a hurry to return to silver screen, has reportedly signed a Rs 10-crore endorsement deal with an Indian Jewelry brand.

According to reports, the actress will make a comeback along with father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan as a brand ambassador for Kalyan Jewellers.
