I just think Padma’s daughter Krishna is so beautiful! It’s so cute seeing how completely different they look with Padma’s olive skin and Krishna’s light skin and blue eyes.

They were both spotted in New York City with Krishna sporting a new hairstyle, a very very close cut – almost bald.

Krishna’s hairstyle is most likely a Hindu tradition. Wikipedia states that children are given a very important first hair cut where their hair is shaved saying, In Hindu tradition, the hair from birth is associated with undesirable traits from past lives. Thus at the time of the mundan, the child is freshly shaven to signify freedom from the past and moving into the future.
