While Feast and Fashion seldom collide during fashion week, Bon Appetit collaborated with Whit to celebrate food and fashion. Hailing from a lineage of fashionistas, Whitney Pozgay is the niece of Kate Spade, who takes elements of her aunt’s preppy princess image and mixes it up with her own West coast casual attitude. Her Arizona road trip inspired collection featured easy summer silhouettes with sundresses, shorts, and peasant tops that had a 70s vibe reflecting the landscapes and colors of the Southwestern desert. On hand to help toast her 3rd collection at the penthouse of the Gramercy Park Hotel, was Top Chef Fabio Viviani who whipped up his favorite delicacies to the delight of her well wishers.
