The King of Joseon in New York at the Met! tonight

The Korea Costume Science Foundation presents, ‘The King of Joseon, in New York’ tonight. The fashion show will take place in the Great Hall, demonstrating the royal dresses of Kings and Queens of Joseon which have been translated by designer, “Kim Hye Soon,” accompanied by Korea’s traditional dance and popular music. Top CEOs, leaders in business of music, fashion, entertaining and media are being invited to attend the event. A number of Korean actresses, top models and dancing groups will be joining to perform through this show, joined by US stars in the entertainment industry. Following the show, a Royal cuisine (Sura) will be served in the Temple of Dendur This event provides not only the aesthetic pleasures of traditional hanbok but present the opportunity to experience the taste of traditional Korean royal cuisine (Sura). Korea’s intangible cultural asset, Han Bok-ryeo will perfectly reproduce the Korean traditional royal cuisine (Sura).
