Miss Pennsylvania USA Sheena Monnin turned in her crown. Of course, pageant

Miss Pennsylvania USA Sheena Monnin turned in her crown. Of course, pageant officials said that her charges have no merit.

Even so, Sheena Monnin wrote on Facebook, “Effective immediately I have voluntarily, completely, and utterly removed myself from the Miss Universe Organization. In good conscience I can no longer be affiliated in any way with an organization I consider to be fraudulent, lacking in morals, inconsistent, and in many ways trashy.”

According to Monnin, Miss USA officials chose the five finalists in advance of Sunday’s show. She even claims to have proof of this. If this is true, that would be a huge issue for the Miss Universe organization.

Here is the always hilarious Trump’s response!:

There were two Asian American contestants this year! Both did not place.

Brandie Cazimero, Miss Hawaii USA
Brandie, of Hawaiian, Chinese, Portuguese, and Filipino descent, attends the University of Hawaii at Manoa where she is majoring in apparel product design & merchandising and minoring in business administration.

Nitaya Panemalaythong, Miss Minnesota USA
Nitaya, of Laotian descent and fluent in the language, is the first Asian American to hold the title of Miss Minnesota. Born in a refugee camp, she came to the USA as an infant and now financially supports her 10-member family with her brother-in-law.
