Asian Girl in the Big Apple!

The most exciting thing by far has happened to me – if this doesn’t include me graduating as the Valedictorian back in high school – I was sent to New York to be on an episode of Anderson Cooper’s daytime show “Anderson”! I couldn’t believe how fast it all happened and their ability to make it happen. As you all know my blog is about interracial relationships. Jaymie reached out to me and asked if I wanted to be recommended for Anderson Cooper’s show in which one of their shows would be based on interracial daters/relationships. My first reaction was OMG you’re freaking kidding me right?! Oh yeah! Who wouldn’t want to meet Anderson Cooper?! So she got me connected with their producers over the phone and they invited me out the next day (I flew out today) to do a taping tomorrow! I couldn’t believe it happened. I said my goodbyes and headed off to the Big Apple by myself (without my better half, and with whom my inspiration comes from). Though I wish my boyfriend was here, I know he’s extremely excited for me either way. I got here later in the evening and got to explore a little of what the city has to offer, but hopefully tomorrow will show me more. I’m flying back out tomorrow evening, so I only get one more day in this grand city. Tomorrow is the big taping and I can’t wait.

I’m going to update with pics, the air date of the show, and hopefully get a pic with Anderson himself – not sure how this television behind-the-scenes stuff works, but I hope all goes well =)
