Meet 1000 Asian professionals and corporate recruiters at the 2012 NAAAP Convention
Meet 1000 Asian professionals and corporate recruiters at the 2012 NAAAP Convention and Diversity Career Fair presented by Macy’s on August 23-25, 2012 at the Hilton New York! Founded 30 years ago in New York, NAAAP is the National Association of Asian American Professionals, the premier leadership organization for Asian professionals in North America, a pan-Asian and pan-professional association. We will celebrate our 30th anniversary at the Convention.
This year’s Convention theme, Leadership Never Sleeps, is explored in workshops on appreciative inquiry, emotional intelligence, intellectual property, project management, and effective leadership in Asia, just to name a few. A number of the Convention workshops will offer Professional Development Units (PDUs). See our Workshop Sneak Preview.
At the Convention, you’ll be inspired by NAAAP100 award winners, Chapter award winners, and keynote speakers, and connect with old friends and make new ones. Confirmed speakers are: Ann Lee, author of “What the U.S. Can Learn from China,” Don Liu, General Counsel for Xerox, Major General Bert Mizusawa, and Raymond Lee, Broadway star. Invited speakers include Mayor Michael Bloomberg, a representative of the White House and Todd Park, The United States Chief Technology Officer and many more. Agenda, speaker updates, and registration for the Convention are available at www.naaapconvention.org.
The Diversity Career Fair will be open August 24 and 25. Entry to the Career Fair is FREE for Convention attendees and the general public. More than 40 employers seeking young to mid-career Asian talent will be presenting company profiles, collecting resumes and conducting on-site interviews for open positions. Whether you are actively seeking a job at this moment, or planning for new challenges in the future, the Career Fair has something for you! To gain free access to the NAAAP Career Fair in August or to being your job search now, please visit NAAAP’s Career Center and post your resume.
