Top Chef host/professional secret keeper Padma Lakshmi does not want people drawing attention to the fact that she is in Seattle scoping out new locations or the Seattle cuisine!

According to a tipster at Eater:

“Padma Lakshmi walked out of the Inn at the Market and into a waiting minivan. Since we are huge fans, we got out of the car, walked across the street, and waved wildly. When she looked up from her iPhone, I yelled ‘we’re huge fans!’…and she shushed me, holding a finger to her lips. Embarrassed, we slunk away.”

The Seattle Times’ Danny O’Neil had a similar experience at the hotel Olive 8, where there have been numerous Top Chef judge sightings. Writes O’Neil, “Just got shushed by ?#TopChef?’s Padma when I blew her cover.” Oh, Padma, when will all the shushing end? We’re sure she looked glamorous doing it!
