Award winning music director and pianist Alan Chang announced from his world tour with long time musical collaborator Michael Bublé the highly anticipated release of his compilation album of Christmas classics “Cold December Night”.
Hatched by Alan Chang’s inspiration to share the Bublé Band’s yearly tradition of arranging and writing Christmas songs for each other, the album “Cold December Night” was born. The album, so named for the only original song on the album “Cold December Night”, written three years ago by Alan Chang, which also appears on Michael Bublé’s 2011 “Christmas” album.
Alan Chang describes his album “Cold December Night” as “melancholy interpretations of Christmas songs envisioned by various members of Michael Bublé’s touring band.” The album was mostly recorded at LA’s Westlake Recording Studio, Capitol Records, and Chang’s aptly titled Changmakers Studios. “Cold December Night” is available just in time for holiday gifting on Amazon.com.

About the Bublé Band Collaboration
Several years ago, Buble Band members began writing their own arrangements of traditional Christmas songs to pass their time on the road during the holiday season. The band would gather in a hotel room or backstage and play each other their personal recordings of their arrangements that they had composed. These offstage collaborations inspired Alan Chang to produce an album of the best of the Bublé Band’s arrangements. “Cold December Night” is made available to the public November 15th on iTunes.com and Amazon.com.
