Online holiday shopping up 15 percent from last year

As the days slowly (or quickly) count down to the end of the year, the results from the holiday season are trickling in. Online shopping this year was up 15 percent from last year. Consumers were spending 35.3 billion dollars on digital material from content to subscription sales. Online sales did not end just before Christmas – people were still spending on Christmas day. New gifts like iPods, iPhones, tablets, computers, Android phones allow people to purchase apps, games, and subscriptions right to their devices.
