Sean “Diddy” Combs, head of Bad Boy Records, may have signed singer Cassie Ventura in 2006, but after years of rumors of a romantic relationship between the pair, the mother of his child is letting the cat out of the bag about their connection.

Misa Hylton-Brim, the mother of Combs’ 18-year-old son Justin Dior Combs, recently spoke to Philadelphia radio station Power 99’s “Rise and Grind” morning show about Ventura’s relationship with the father of her child. When asked if she was upset about a possible engagement between the pair, Hylton-Brim did not deny the possibility of the two walking down the aisle in the future.

Instead, she confessed that she loved the 26-year-old singer and model.

“No, I love Cassie,” Hylton-Brim said on the show. “I like Cassie for him. She’s talented, she’s beautiful, and she’s really nice to him and to my son. And that’s all I can ask for.”

Hylton-Brim reportedly dated Combs from 1993 to 1995 when the pair met as college sweethearts. Still, the two have remained friendly over the years.

While rumors have swirled about Combs dating various women throughout the years, the music mogul seemed to imply that there was something more than business taking place in their relationship in recent months. Combs shared a photograph of Ventura on his Twitter account last month with a caption that seemed to let the world know that they were more than business associates.
