The Wonder Girls has participated along with global stars in a Christmas album that will benefit the Special Olympics.

The “A Very Special Christmas” music series will be issued in the US on Oct. 16 in two albums: The “A Very Special Christmas 25th Anniversary” and “A Very Special Christmas: Bringing Peace on Earth.”

The Wonder Girls’ song “Best Christmas Ever” is in the “A Very Special Christmas 25th Anniversary” album, which also features Christina Aguilera, Francesca Battistelli, Michael Bublé, Cheap Trick, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Jewel, Jono, Lauriana Mae, Dave Matthews, Martina McBride, Jason Mraz, One Republic, Rascal Flatts, Grayson Sanders, Jordin Sparks and Train.

The “A Very Special Christmas: Bringing Peace on Earth” showcases Meredith Andrews, Chris August, BarlowGirl, Francesca Battistelli, Big Daddy Weave, Building 429, Jason Castro, Jamie Grace, Natalie Grant, Group 1 Crew, for KING & COUNTRY, Dara Maclean, NEEDTOBREATHE, Point of Grace, Mark Schultz, and Sidewalk Prophets.

The first album was released in 1987 and the succeeding albums have generated more than $100 million for the Special Olympics.

The Wonder Girls is also the goodwill ambassador for the 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
