Cake Boss’ making ‘victory cake’ for Giants

Crowds gathering at MetLife Stadium for tomorrow’s rally for the Super Bowl champion New York Giants will be treated to a sweet surprise.

“Cake Boss” Buddy Valastro Jr. will be supplying the “victory cake” for the event, according to a statement released tonight by Carlo’s Bakery, the Hoboken bakery featured on TLC’s hit show “Cake Boss.”

“Cake Boss” cast members Joey Faugno, Mary Sciarrone, and Mauro Castano even delivered some of their handcrafted creations to Indianapolis for Super Bowl XLVI festivities.

Valastro was in Australia and couldn’t attend the game. “I’m sad that I wasn’t at the Super Bowl this year with the rest of my team,” Valastro said in a statement. “It was an amazing game.”

Frank Amato and Mauro Castano will be presenting the Giants with the final cake of the season tomorrow at 3 p.m.
