New York Fashion Week is finally here, which means that once again you can expect to see amazing fashion at our New Garde Fashion Show. CLICK HERE for more information about these designers and the show.
Because you all deserve a front row seat, we are live-streaming the event today! Pre-show coverage begins at 5pm EST followed by the runway presentation beginning at 6pm EST. CLICK HERE to watch the show on Crest 3D White’s Facebook Page.
Guests will enjoy CIROC Peach cocktails and Voga Italia vino prior to the announcement of the Little White Wardrobe winner. Then host, and Entourage Alum, Emmanuelle Chriqui will open the show with a special presentation for the “Raise Hope for Congo” charity. Top Sports Illustrated models—made even more gorgeous by the artists from Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics and Ecru—will be wearing an exclusive collection created by William Okpo to benefit the charity.
After the show, guests will be invited to rub elbows with celebs and designers while sipping on tasty libations to the sounds of DJs Harley Viera-Muton and Mick Boogie. And the party doesn’t end there; we will be throwing a series of intimate dinners catered by The One Group that are not only going to be an epicurean’s dream, but will be talked about for years to come.
Gen Art is thrilled to announce the designer line-up for its annual New Garde Fashion Show as well as a new partnership with Crest 3D White. The event will be held on Thursday, February 9th. Cocktails will begin at 5pm followed by a runway show at 6pm hosted by Emmanuelle Chriqui featuring the A/W12 collections from the most promising emerging designers including Gemma Kahng, Samantha Pleet and William Okpo. DJ Harley Viera-Newton of Roc Nation will set the soundtrack of the evening.
This season, Gen Art has also chosen to use fashion as a vehicle for change. This year’s program spotlights the “RAISE Hope for Congo” organization. Shortly after the charity introductions, IMG’s top models will walk the runway presenting exclusive t-shirts and jeans designed by William Okpo to benefit “RAISE Hope For Congo”. The apparel will be available for purchase alongside William Okpo’s AW12 collection at select retail stores as well as William Okpo & GenArt.com with all proceeds going to the RAISE Hope for Congo campaign under the Enough Project. JewelMint will also be contributing to the charity for each IMG model that walks down the runway in the designs made by Okpo for RAISE Hope for Congo.
Crest 3D White’s partnership with Gen Art this season not only supports the runway presentations of five “on the cusp” designers, but also gives one fledgling designer the stand-out moment of a lifetime with the “Little White Wardrobe (LWW)” Design Competition and presentation at Gen Art New Garde. As part of the competition, emerging fashion designers were challenged to create a glamorous and radiant collection and bring bright smiles to the runway, all inspired by the must-have beauty accessory of fashion week, Crest 3D White. For the first time in Gen Art history, the winning designer’s capsule collection will walk the runway that evening at the Gen Art New Garde fashion show. Finalists include, Tableaux Vivants, Wen Shi, Mataano, and Dmitry Sholokhov. On hand to announce this new partnership and the “LWW Design Competition” winner will be Crest 3D White spokesperson and Gen Art alumni Whitney Port.
