Kate Middleton wore a Flora Kung dress while leaving a club.

Flora was born in Taiwan to one of the most aristocratic families from northern China, and came to New York at high school age. She went on to study fashion design at Parson’s School of Design. After winning Parson’s Children’s Wear Award, she left for Paris and worked for a handful of renown French designers. Flora opened her own company FLORA KUNG at age 21 in New York, was hailed “Princess of Prints” in Vogue magazine and had distribution in 4 continents. At age 30, Flora “retired” and moved to Paris to start a family. In 2008, Flora resurrected her brand and picked up her paint brushes to create her signature breathtaking, visual and out-of-the-box trendsetting prints once again. Flora always start a collection by designing her own prints by hand, this is one of the reasons why her personal point of view is always inspiring. She continues to see designing textile as a pleasure and an art form. Her current silk jersey collections can be found in a handful of fine boutiques in 4 continents.
