World number one Tiger Woods once again topped the annual Sunday Times

World number one Tiger Woods once again topped the annual Sunday Times Sport Rich List.

After experiencing a lean few years which saw him drop outside of the world top 50, the American returned to form at the end of last year and regained the top spot in the rankings earlier this campaign from Rory McIroy.

According to the list, 14-time major winner Woods is the richest sportsman in the world and he is worth a staggering $883m.

The 37-year-old’s fortunes dwarfs that of Britain’s richest golfer Sir Nick Faldo as the six-time major winner is worth “only” $56m.
