Korean singer Lee Hyori confirmed Thursday that she will tie the knot

Korean singer Lee Hyori confirmed Thursday that she will tie the knot with her guitarist boyfriend Lee Sang Soon in September, reported Korean media.

“We just felt September is a good time. We haven’t talked it over with our parents and haven’t prepared anything yet.

“We will do our best to build a beautiful life together,” said Lee Hyori in a post on her fan site.

Her management agency later revealed that Lee and her husband-to-be intend to have a “low-key wedding attended by their friends”.

The two started dating in 2011, after working on a song together.

Lee Hyori made her showbiz debut as part of the now-defunct girl group Fin.K.L in 1998, and later embarked on a solo singing career, going on to release her first solo album in 2003.
