Trust-funder playboy Nicholas Brooks has been found guilty early this evening of the Soho House bathtub strangulation and drowning of his beautiful, swimsuit designer girlfriend, Sylvie Cachay.

Cries of “Yes!” rang out from the rows of Manhattan Supreme Court courtroom where the victims friends and family members had sat waiting throughout three days of sometimes visibly tense deliberations.

Brooks himself rubbed his chin with his hand, and looked annoyed, as the forewoman spoke the word “guilty.”

Brooks’ sister Amanda — his only family member in the audience — broke into gasping sobs on the other side of the audience.

Brooks’ sentencing on a single count of murder in the second degree was set for August 26. He faces 25 years to life in prison.
