Wine Regions of the World Tasting Series Cruise in New York City
Sit back and enjoy the gorgeous 360-degree view of the island from the open decks or the glassed-in back-deck.
Don’t miss this opportunity to swirl, sniff, and taste your way down the Hudson.
Each week the World Tasting Series Cruise focuses on a different region exploring the grapes, styles, soils, viticulture, and tasting techniques that will help you enjoy your wine!
We really loved the wine tour combined with the beautiful landmarks….our wine region just happened to be Greece!
Some interesting facts:
- The oldest evidence of crushed grapes used for winemaking was discovered in a Greek amphora dating back to 7th century BC.
- 70 percent of the over 100 million gallons produced today are white wines.
These interactive tastings were conducted by wine professional Wendy Crispell in a fun, relaxed atmosphere aboard the beautiful yacht Manhattan.
This season’s tastings featured a number of different artisan & farmstead cheeses selected to complement the wines of the day. In addition, a selection of dried fruit, nuts and breads were served to highlight each pairing.
You MUST take one of these cruises around the NYC area before the end of summer!
