Liu Wen says calligraphy relaxes her.

When asked by modelinia.com if she has a talent besides walking the runway, the 25-year-old had an interesting answer.

“In China, we learn calligraphy with the long feather pen. I really love it because it helps to relax me kind of like yoga, because you have to really concentrate on what you’re doing.”

She let fans in on the items she has her eye on for fall.

“There are so many things!” she exclaimed.

“For winter, you always want a really nice coat that’s big and cosy. That’s ever girl’s wish to find the perfect coat, but it’s very hard to find the right one. Of course, I’d love a pair of nice boots. A classic pair, with just a little bit of a heel. Right now, I’m wearing the Coach [Jodhpur] ankle boots. I also really like Acne’s boots. I have more of a tomboy style, so I’m looking for something cool and comfortable, and maybe a little slouchy. Rag & Bone and Alexander Wang are also really great.”

As well as searching for the perfect cover-up and footwear, Liu has been rocking Louis Vuitton’s Sofia Coppola bag.
