Margaret Cho has just landed a major role in the new Tina

Margaret Cho has just landed a major role in the new Tina Fey series. The untitled show, being called Cabot College, follows the students and staff at a women’s college that has just opened its doors to men for the first time, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Cho will play the president of Cabot College, Laura Thibault. Thibault attempts a welcoming attitude towards the newly admitted boys, but she gets annoyed with their antics. This is the second time Cho and Fey have worked together on a television project. Cho guest starred in 30 Rock as Kim Jong II. This performance earned her an Emmy nomination.

Cho’s current major television appearance is on Lifetime’s hit-series Drop Dead Diva. She reprises this role for its sixth season later this year.
