F80 Your Way To A Flawless Face
I’d like to introduce you all to my two new favorite things: Naked Skin foundation by Urban Decay and the F80 Flat Kabuki brush by Sigma. In my endless pursuit of emulating natural, flawless beauty, these two products are my latest and greatest discovery.
Urban Decay’s Naked Skin is my HG foundation of the season. It is fluid, weightless, non-drying, and doesn’t irritate my sensitive combination skin. It’s supposed to be fragrance-free, though I do detect a pleasant hint of hazelnut. 5.0 is my perfect shade, a golden medium tone that blends so well with my complexion that it’s difficult to believe that it wasn’t formulated just for me.
As for Sigma’s legendary F80 Flat Kabuki brush, I don’t believe there was ever a tool more adept for creating the perfect, flawless face with liquid makeup. With its soft, dense bristles creating a flat surface made for foundation application, you can effortlessly buff your way to a perfect complexion. I’ve tried stippling brushes, flat foundations brushes, sponges, etc, yet no method has given me as excellent results as the F80.
For best results:
1. Dot liquid foundation on the face with fingertips.
2. Gently buff foundation onto face with F80 brush using small, circular motions.
3. For those with combination skin like me, you have the option of dusting a little setting powder along your t-zone. I like to use Mineral Veil by BareMinerals.
To complete the look, I did a soft, natural smoke using my Urban Decay Naked palette and finished my lip with Revlon’s Lip Butter in Sweet Tart.

Hi Cat,
I just found Asiance and your blog. I love it! I am always looking for new makeup techniques since my skin tends to change every few years, maybe depending on where I live. Can you do a blog post on what your daily skin care routine consists of? Also, what foods or vitamins you take to promote flawless skin?
Cat has the most beautiful, flawless and shapely lips I have ever seen! Her photography skills are exceptional. And, she’s cute and smart!
