Park choon moo fall/winter 2013

Korean designer Park Choon Moo released her new collection last night. The collection features black, grey and white colors. The designer was inspired by the beauty and majesty of glaciers in the Arctic Sea, and by the power of nature. Hues of eggshell, white and light grey reflect the icy worlds and are layered with deep shiny blacks. The collection reveals the fragility of the human being against this backdrop of the overpowering, sometimes threatening characters of nature. In spite of the human-nature theme, Park’s collection also includes some oriental detail. Those thick wraps around the waist area resemble the style of a Japanese Kimono.
