Known for her sunny and graphic Palm Springs inspired past collections, Trina Turk’s Fall 2013 collection was an evolution of more of a sophisticated modern California with influences from the 70s that felt part Ali McGraw and Halston. From the fedoras, to the lean pantsuits, geometric column dresses, and tonal layered looks with charmeuse blouses peeking under wool jumpsuits, she used rich color like pulm, cognac, oxblood, and russett in luxe textures and materials to present a striking collection with many wearable pieces for Fall.
