Michelle Wie is coming to the small screen next month, as a guest on the hit CBS show “Hawaii 5-0.”

“I’m officially an actress now,” she said earlier this week at the Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club, the site of the Coates Championship, the LPGA Tour’s opening event of the season.

Wie appears in two scenes totaling 2?1/2 minutes, which took more than two hours to film. Wie, who has been in the public eye since she was 11, still found the experience “very nerve-racking.”

“I had a lot more lines than I imagined,” the defending U.S. Women’s Open champion said. “The actors were very helpful. … You just don’t realize all the hard work that they put into it. And it seems to easy on TV.”

he LPGA Tour has two exempt African-American players in the same season for the first time since 1971.

Cheyenne Woods, the niece of Tiger Woods, got her card for 2015 through the LPGA qualifying tournament at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, and Sadena Parks made it by finishing fourth on the Symetra Tour money list.
