In a statement posted on the Facebook event page for the Wonder Girls‘ concerts in Honolulu, the event venue Pipeline Cafe announced that the concerts will be postponed due to the passing of leader Sunye’s father. See the statement below:
The Wonder Girls regret that they will have to reschedule their performances at Pipeline Café in Honolulu, Hawaii this weekend due to the sudden passing of Wonder Girl Sun’s father. The Wonder Girls would like to thank their fans for their understanding and support during this difficult time and are looking forward to the new rescheduled dates. They are now scheduled on Friday-Saturday, July 16-17, 2010. Doors will open at 7PM on Friday and 12PM on Saturday.

performing 2 shows!
Friday-Saturday, July 16-17, 2010 at Pipeline Cafe
Friday Show at 8PM, Doors at 7PM. All Ages
Saturday Show at 2PM, Doors at 1PM. All Ages
There are some discrepancies in the show and doors opening times for the Saturday show in the posting. In a call to the venue, a representative stated that the show on Saturday, July 17 will be held at 1:00 pm with doors opening at 12:00 noon The representative responded that Pipeline Cafe already had a scheduled event for that night, so the concert was moved to the afternoon to accommodate the rescheduling. Those with tickets to the Hawaii shows should contact Pipeline Cafe to verify any questions they may have. So, instead of kicking off the second leg of the Wonder Girls’ 2010 concert, Hawaii now will be closing it.
