The past few days have been a time of shock and grief as Wonder Girls’ leader, Sunye, lost her father who had passed away due to a long term illness.

All of the Wonder Girls’ members attended Sunye’s father’s funeral procession held on the 26th at Asan Medical Center and gave comfort and support to Sunye during this extremely difficult time.

Apart from the Wonder Girls and their parents, there were many others such as Sunye’s family, JYPE staff members, singer Joo, Sunmi and Sunye’s best friend 2AM’s Jo Kwon who also showed up this morning. They canceled all of their busy schedules in order to attend and give their condolences.

Despite the gloomy atmosphere at the mortuary, much care and friendship were shown towards Sunye throughout this difficult period, with many from the entertainment industry coming in the past two days to offer their condolences.

After much controversy on the first day where the photographers took pictures of a pale looking Sunye, they have been kept off limits from the mortuary from taking any more pictures by request from JYPE until today where they snapped away again from distance during the ongoing funeral procession.

The Wonder Girls will be off activities for now before resuming on the 29th with their Wonder World Tour in Vancouver. But this could change depending on Sunye’s condition which will be discussed after the whole thing is over.
