ACADEMY OF ART UNIVERSITY SPRING 2014

Last night, ten designers from the fashion school from Academy of Art University presented their show at Lincoln Center. Among them, were six Asian designers who are from different Asian countries, such as China, Taiwan, and Taipei. I interviewed one of those girls, Gwen Shihyao Lai, who received the “Most Original and Creative” student design award for her undergraduate fashion collection. Her inspiration to create this spring collection was from the paintings of Filipino artist called Thaddeus Ochoa Pagaduan. Her creative work is definitely stunning.

It was the first time for me to go to fashion week so it became one of precious memories for me and I absolutely loved all the collections.
