It’s been a while since Julia Roberts was firing out film after film, perhaps reflecting the more chilled out persona she depicts in Eat Pray Love. Nine years ago she released The Mexican, America’s Sweethearts and Ocean’s Eleven within ten months of each other, but now the pace of life has slowed and she’s more focussed on her family. That is, unless John Woo comes knocking.
The veteran pretty woman told STV that she would chuck the life of Zen to star in a genre-flick if given the opportunity. “John Woo, wouldn’t that be exciting? Wouldn’t that be cool?”
For now though it’s all about family. “I feel like I work all the time,” she said. “And I do things that are not necessarily the leading part because, you know, there’s nothing that has held a greater interest than me being home really.”
