Chinese immigrant arrested for stabbing deaths

A man in New York is responsible for stabbing his cousin’s wife and their children. Mingdong Chen is 25 years old and murdered 9-year-old, Linda Zhuo, 7-year-old Amy Zhuo, 5-year-old Kevin Zhuo, 18-month old William Zhuo and the mother, 37-year-old, Qiao Zhen Li. He used a kitchen knife to murder them.

Chen was unemployed and was living in different homes. Chen had stayed with the family for about a week in their apartment. The reasons are unclear as to why he killed them. But the reason maybe that he became jealous of those who were more successful.

Investigators got a call and found three victims were dead at the scene and tried to save the 5-year-old boy and mother, but they died at the hospital. He assaulted a police man. He is being charged with one count of first-degree murder, four counts of second degree murder, possession of a weapon, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest. He pleaded not guilty.
