GBK and the Aruba Tourism Authority’s Super Superbowl Lounge

This season, New York welcomed the Superbowl with open arms. For the first time in decades, the largest sporting event in the US was held in a cold city, and the seige of the Northeast winter storms made sure of that. However, at the GBK Superbowl lounge at the Gansevoort Meatpacking Hotel, things were warm and sunny with the Aruba Tourism Authority transforming the space into a tropical destination featuring sand and a Super Bar with cocktails as super as the weekend’s festivities, where guests had a hand in creating the island’s signature cocktails.

Celebrity guests were encouraged to extend their taste of the island by claiming a 3 day / 4 night trip to the One happy island of Aruba.

A mixture of celebrities, athletes and DIRECTV’s special guests including AJ McCarron and Katherine Webb, Deion Sanders, Serena Williams, Nina Dobrev, Desmond Howard, Jesse Palmer, Peter Facinelli, Jessie James, and more attended the GBK and Aruba Gift Lounge which brought a taste of the Caribbean to the chilly Super Bowl Weekend.
