Taking Hospitality to a SKY HI level!!

I clock in over 50% business travel and planes, trains, and automobiles take me to my second home I.e, a Hotel Room! I have had the pleasure of staying everywhere from the opulence of the Breakers in Palm Beach to the more humble Days Inn in Logan, UT. Last week I was in Vancouver, beautiful city, vibrant downtown and a happening harbor. I stayed at the Renaissance Harborside (a Marriott property) and I sweet talked my way into a harbor facing room, which literally had stunning views of the harbor, which was panacea to my tired, jetlagged limbs….

If getting the room was a sweet deal, what happens next will be the entire dessert tray! I had another long exhausting day of work and upon my return was chatting with Jason at the front desk and I inquired about the wine tasting that was going on at the bar. Tired as I was, I grabbed a small goblet of vino and made a wayward, ‘Its good but can’t stay for the wine tasting, too much work to do’ comment to Jason and went on my way to my harbor view abode!

2 hours later, there was a knock on my room and someone said Room Service, I had not ordered any so said wasn’t mine, the response was it was something from the front desk. Upon opening my door, I find this..(see pic) an entire BOTTLE of the red that I had tasted downstairs with a package of macaroons…HEAVEN!!! And a kind note from Jason.

It made my travel weary soul so incredibly happy:) Nicest surprise I have received in years.

Check out the Renaissance Harborside If ever in Vancouver. I look forward to my next stay there.
