It is truly amazing! You can pick up speech and foreign languages easily with these tools if you are deaf/hard of hearing. I am speaking Mandarin now. I have a long way to go but I never thought I would ever be able to attempt to speak a language like Mandarin or Japanese. At University, I had to take a double major to make up for the language requirement. Learning was difficult and very frustrating back then. But Dr. Pimsleur’s Program is revolutionary! Rosetta Stone also offers an innovative approach to learning languages easily. The key is not to let anyone see your new tools because in case you haven’t noticed, when an individual(s) knows that you are hard of hearing, they speak as though you are deaf and do not realize that you can hear what is going on behind closed doors. (Yes, I heard almost everything. You were both quite loud and I was right outside the door.) Now you can pick up on it verbatim from a significant distance! Engineers and scientists are the heroes of our generation.
