Marisa Sung’s Rules of Etiquette for the Modern World Number 21

Do not scratch or touch your private parts in public and then immediately afterwards attempt to hand something to me or touch me in any way, shape or form! That is absolutely disgusting not to mention highly unsanitary. I have witnessed and been a victim to this behavior in the Corporate World of Madhattan. Just because you are a high ranking individual and/or a business owner does not give you the right to behave in this manner.

When you see that I have sanitizer, foot spray, eucalyptus hand crème, air freshener and other similar toiletries at my workstation out for every person to see that should give you a clear idea that I am a germaphobe!!

Remember that we always wash our hands thoroughly after a trip to the loo also! Granted I am OCD but this is just normal everyday sanitary behavior.
