The Problem I Have With A Lot Of Airlines

I refuse to fly any airline that does not have large seats and a certain distance between seats all the way across each zone of the plane. The reason is because as you know, I am a germaphobe and with Priceline and all of the other bargain wholesale airline sites out there, you could be sitting next to a serial killer turned rapper these days. Come to think of it, that could also happen on NetJets or Marquis Jet too! I think that the Government is trying to save money by flying Convicts on Commercial Airlines. The individuals who would normally fly on Con-Air are now sitting right next to you and me on the Commercial Airlines!! When an individual looks creepy and he/she is sitting within an arms length of you, pretend you are deaf! This always works for me. Just learn a few words in sign language and that will surely ward them off!! Also, with India Airlines featuring fake pilots, Malaysia Airlines featuring fake passengers and a whole host of Airlines featuring make believe flight attendants, it is nothing short of a miracle that you will get to your destination alive. Next week, I will give you a list of Airlines that I know to be safe and secure. Trust me, if they pass my inspection, they will pass everyone’s! šŸ™!

Con Air=I think I’ve flown this Airline! šŸ™

I live John Cusack as he is such a great actor!

I share your concerns….but my solution was to give up travelling!

I’m just kidding. Thank you for the information. You are right, you do have to be careful on major cruise lines. Day care centers, nursing homes, cruise ships, and hospitals—they’re all prime environments for Norovirus. This infectious, gastrointestinal illness can rip its way through close, crowded quarters like these, wreaking havoc on the residents’ digestive systems, and leaving them dangerously dehydrated due to diarrhea, lack of appetite, and vomiting, within a mere 24 hour period.

Norovirus is known for being readily contagious. It causes nausea, vomiting and diarrhea, and is believed to have infected passengers on a number of cruise ships in recent months. In February, 114 passengers and 10 crew members took ill on the Holland America cruise ship ms Veendam during a week long voyage. In January, more than 600 people on cruise ships sailing in the Caribbean fell ill from the virus, the CDC reported.

OK…now this is getting spookie….the only cruise ship I was ever on was the Veendam 33 years ago to Bermuda! Nice place to visit and nice ship….but I was sick for 2 weeks after. But thanks for the memories, and yes, I would return.
    Keep up the good posts!

You shouldn’t stop travelling just because in a lot of cases flying commercial is synonymous with Chinese Water Torture! šŸ™ Take a train or better yet a cruise! My mom is very fussy and she absolutely loves Norwegian Cruise Lines!! šŸ™‚

Thank you for the diagnosis Dr. Anonymous! If you fear disease and germs so much that you don’t want to travel, then stay home and live under a rock. What can I tell you?? Perhaps, you should board the Crazy Train! My mom loves that cruise line and she goes armed with her Lysol and other germ conscious products. You cannot stop living because of what may or may not happen, you can only take the necessary precautions. Thank you and have a great day! šŸ™‚

I would rather fly “The Danger Zone” with TOP GUN than fly most commercial airlines. Somehow, I think it is much safer! šŸ™‚

I think that Carol Burnett performed the best spoof on discount Commercial Airlines! Check out the No Frills Airline. What is sad about this is the fact that I can relate to the man in the No Frills Section and I fly major Commercial Airlines. I usually fly economy if the flight is short but I usually fly Business Class overseas.
