Marisa Sung’s Simple Skillet Supper = Shrimp in Satay Sauce
What you won’t be getting served on most ConAir er most commercial airlines = Marisa Sung’s Prawns in Satay Sauce. Perhaps if you book a flight on Singapore Airlines or Marquis, BlueJet and/or NetJets. Screw it, get your own plane!! (Just Kidding)
Ingredients:
12 large shrimp
1 medium onion
2 tbsp. olive oil
1/4 cup of bottled satay sauce or Marisa Sung’s Peanut Sauce (on my blog)
Steps:
1. Peel shrimp leaving the last section of the shell and tails in tact. Cut down center of back to remove vein.
2. Cut onion into curved slices by cutting from the top to the bottom. Separate pieces.
3. Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add oil. Stir fry onion in oil till it begins to soften. Add shrimp and stir fry for 1-2 mins. or until done. Add sauce and stir till well combined. Serve immediately with hot cooked rice and steamed Chinese Greens like Marisa Sung’s bok choy! 🙂
