Destinations: Las Vegas and Southern California (Chinese New Year 2013) from AFFINITY

As Chinese travelers become more sophisticated, attention is moving from the current mass-market tour groups to free independent travelers. A group of Affinity China guests were invited to travel with actor/director Hu Bing to Las Vegas and Southern California during Chinese New Year 2013.

Highlights of their Las Vegas experience included private fashion shows and events at Crystals, Prada and The Venetian as well as an opportunity to race exotic cars.

In Southern California, the group enjoyed their stay at the Montage Laguna Beach and exclusive shopping experiences at South Coast Plaza which included a private Burberry event and a private fashion show at Anqi. Guess were also invited into the home of a prominent Chinese-Americans couple for Chinese New Year dinner.

During their stay in Beverly Hills, guests enjoyed a private lunch by Tiffany & Co at the Hotel Bel-Air with celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck followed by breakfast at Tiffany’s the next morning at Rodeo Drive. Their experience also included a VIP Lakers game experience, a private fashion presentation by Elle magazine at Neiman Marcus Beverly Hills and high tea at The Peninsula Beverly Hills. The trip concluded with invites to a Chinese New Year charity event hosted by a Hollywood executive and his wife in support of Unicef.
