Kang Vang, returned to the screen with his fourth feature length film. Unlike his previous projects, Fallen City was his first English-speaking film. Kang is one of the co-founders of Team Chow Fa Productions. Team Chow Fa formed in 2005 when it produced a short movie, Into the Dark, for the Minneapolis 48 Hour Film Project. The movie won best cinematography, best original score and best technical use of sound. In 2006, Team Chow Fa produced Tou and Mai, a romantic comedy between a Hmong American boy and a Hmong refugee.
