Long Her, 22, is a rising model in the Hmong community. He was featured as one of the sexiest men alive in the September issue of DNA Magazine #116. “I was excited and happy about it but quite surprised as well that I would be featured as one of the sexiest men alive in an international magazine,” Long said. Long is not signed with an agency and works as a freelance model, but is highly professional. His goal as a model is to be successful. “My modeling journey has been and is still awesome and has given me great opportunities to be able to be in all sorts of work,” he says. “There will be struggles in everything that you do so don’t be surprised if you happen to run into struggles sooner or later on in life.” Long’s advice is to be strong, confident and achieve what you really want. Not tall enough to hit the big runways, Long works locally and travels to surrounding areas. “I love to be active and do activities,” he says. Aside from modeling, Long works full-time.

When asked what he’d like to bring to the Hmong community, he said to open up, be free, relax and express yourself, show yourself. “Hiding your talents and all isn’t a good thing. Being successful and being able to achieve goals gives you a great feeling,” said Long. “Don’t be afraid to do anything.” He hopes that the Hmong community continues to grow with talents and all.
