In what is probably the India wedding of the century, behind Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan, Shilpa Shetty married Raj Kundra, a London based businessman.

Actor Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachan, actress Aishwarya Rai & other celebrities attended the stylish wedding.

You’ll remember Shilpa as the winner of the British reality show Celebrity Big Brother in a controversial 2007 season that saw contestant Jade Goody hurl abuse at Shetty, making fun of her name and her Indian origin. Or you might also remember Shilpa as the woman who received a warning for being kissed by Richard Gere. (The couple’s embrace goes against all the Hindu conventions)
