Tiger has been put through the ringer lately. No doubt he’ll be back bigger than ever. We all know America loves to tear its celebrities down and build them back up…sometimes better than ever.

In the meantime, Canadian authorities charged a doctor, who has treated Woods and many other pro athletes, with selling the unapproved drug Actovegin, the Associated Press reported.

Three weeks of salacious headlines seemed to overshadow today’s news that the Associated Press selected Woods as the Athlete of the Decade. The decision was based on 10 years of performance.

What’s most interesting is this article by Los Angeles Times sports writer Bill Plaschke. He describes a different Tiger he knew on the golf course.

“From the back, the dude looked like Barry Bonds.

His neck was oddly wide. His shoulders were absurdly broad. His biceps were busting out of a tight shirt.
